This Macungie house started with a rear elevation that did not have a full usable deck and stair connection. Vene Construction built an elevated rear deck and stair package, tying the platform into the existing rear door with new framing, support posts, guardrails, stair rails, fascia, and finished deck and stair surfaces.

What Needed to Change
The rear of the house had an upper entry but no full elevated deck and stair system connecting that level to the yard and patio area below. The project needed a safer, more usable outdoor access point without exposing the exact address publicly.
How the Finished Space Came Together
Vene Construction built the elevated deck and stair package with treated framing, support posts, a finished platform, stair run, white guardrails, stair railings, fascia, and exterior trim details. The visible work ties the rear door, deck, stairs, and lower patio area into one cleaner outdoor connection.
The Finished Result
The finished rear exterior now has a usable elevated deck, a direct stair connection to the yard, white railings around the platform and stairs, and finished surfaces that make the back of the house look intentional instead of temporary.
